Don't Play With Whitey.  This is an original 7x10 inch oil painting on a wood panel by Tom Applegate.  The painting is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.  The work  is a contemporary version of a great white shark swimming in a semi abstract world. 

The panel is not an ordinary panel but one of Tom's X-Panels.  It is an innovation on the norm and uses course weave carbon fiber cloth for the painting surface instead of canvas, This is a Series 1 panel that is semi hollow and made of luan plywood.  The panel is 1/4 inch thick, very light, and almost warp proof.
