Don't Play With Whitey.  This is an original 7x10 inch oil painting on a wood panel by Tom Applegate.  The painting is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.  The work  is a contemporary version of a great white shark swimming in a semi abstract world. 

The panel is not an ordinary panel but one of Tom's Sierra Art Panels.  It is an innovation on the norm and uses course weave carbon fiber cloth for the painting surface instead of canvas, This is a Series 1 panel that is semi hollow and made of luan plywood.  The panel is 1/4 inch thick, very light, and almost warp proof.
